“talk versus action”

Hillary Clinton attempted to draw a distinction between herself and Barack Obama today by declaring, “There’s a big difference between us — speeches versus solutions, talk versus action.”

She’s right. There is a big difference. While she has been talking, he has been providing us with plenty of action . . . kicking her ass up and down the map! Was that the distinction she was after?

The fact is, Mr. Obama has been delivering speeches and solutions. His current solution promises to solve a problem that has been plaguing America for about 35 years; how to make The Clintons go away. While she has been busy proclaiming her management skills and his lack of experience, Mr. Obama has been running a superior campaign. He has out-managed the self-proclaimed manager. By contrast, what stands out about Hillary’s performance is the fact that she has squandered away some of the greatest advantages ever bestowed upon a candidate. She has mismanaged her campaign at every level; organizationally, operationally and financially. What she has demonstrated is failed leadership.

Note to the candidate:

Dear Hillary,

Incompetent leadership is not a solution. Why should we let you run the country if you can’t even run your campaign? You should not talk of speeches and solutions, for you deliver neither.
